Be Well Circle provides financial support for integrative and holistic care — funding the treatments that heal at the root, for the people who need them most.
Lifestyle medicine, root-cause treatment, and integrative care are increasingly proven to transform health outcomes. But they're almost never covered by insurance — and the gap between who can access them and who cannot is widening.
"Families are forced to choose between bills and healing. We believe a community is only as healthy as its least-resourced members."
Middle-income households face the same trap — incomes that look adequate on paper don't reflect real financial strain.
Naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, energy healing, and nutrition therapy are routinely denied coverage — leaving effective care out of reach.
Household size, dependents, and rising premiums mean even families earning $80–100K face real financial barriers to care. We consider the full picture.
Integrative care addresses root causes and prevents disease progression — but only if people can access it before the crisis point.
We fund accessible, high-impact treatments that address root causes and improve long-term outcomes. Our focus is on care that transforms — not just manages.
Naturopathic and functional medicine, homeopathy, and root-cause approaches that treat the whole person.
Therapy, EMDR, trauma memory reconsolidation, and body-based approaches to emotional healing.
Personalized nutrition therapy, dietitian support, and health coaching that address the dietary root of illness.
Acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy (including pelvic floor), craniosacral, and somatic healing.
Reiki, sound healing, energy medicine, reflexology, herbalism, and flower essence therapy.
Financial support for in-home end-of-life care providers and holistic practitioners supporting families through final days.
Specific modalities we support
We keep the process human and flexible — because rigid systems serve institutions, not people. Every application is reviewed by our board with care, context, and compassion.
Patients can apply directly or be referred by a trusted provider. Provider referrals are especially welcome, as they help ensure clients are actively engaged in care.
Our board evaluates financial need alongside your personal narrative. Applications are reviewed with privacy protections in place and decisions made by vote.
Approved funds go directly to care. Clients contribute what they can, providers may reduce fees, and Be Well Circle supplements the rest.
Providers submit follow-up reports on client progress. We track impact over time and prioritize funding toward treatments and practitioners with proven results.
Our mission at Be Well Circle is to provide accessible holistic wellness services and education to underserved communities throughout Charleston — to educate, to fund, and to empower.
